In the name of God, Amen.  I Sally Williams the widow of L.D. Williams, deceased, of the County of Hyde and State of North Carolina being in feeble health and of sound mind memory and understanding praise be to God for the same do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

First:  That my executor shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relations & friends and pay all my funeral & burial expenses with my just debts however & to whomsoever owing out of first money that comes into his hands as a part or parcel of my estate.

Second:  I give devise and bequeath unto William M. Williams nephew of L.D. Williams, deceased, all of my real estate where I now live during his life time & then to his children should he leave any and if he should not leave any children then the said real estate shall go to the relation of Lorenzo D. Williams.

Third:  I give devise & bequeath unto William M. Williams all of my personal & mixed property of what nature or kind so ever or wheresoever the same shall be at the time of my death.

Fourth:  I do nominate constitute and appoint J.C. Simmons sole executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all and every other Will or Wills at any time heretofore made by me and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I the said Sally Williams have hereunto set my hand this 29th day of May A.D. 1884.

Signed declared and published by the above named Sally Williams as and for her last Will and testament in the presence of us who at her request and in her presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

State of North Carolina        In the Superior Court
       Hyde County
    A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Sally Williams, deceased, is exhibited before me the undersigned Clerk of the Superior Court for said County, by J.C. Simmons, the executor therein mentioned, and the due execution thereof by the said Sally Williams by the oath and examination of Carrie V. Simmons and Virginia P. Simmons, the subscribing witnesses thereto: who being duly sworn, doth depose and say, and each for herself deposeth and saith,  that she is a subscribing witness to the paper-writing now shown her purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Sally Williams.  That the said Sally Williams in the presence of this deponent subscribed her name at the end of said paper writing which is now shown as aforesaid, and which bears date of the 29th day of May 1884.
 And the deponent further saith, that the said Sally Williams, the testatrix aforesaid, did, at the time of subscribing her name as aforesaid declare the said paper-writing so subscribed by her and exhibited to be her last Will and Testament, and this deponent did thereupon subscribe her name at the end of said Will, as an attesting witness thereto and at the request and in the presence of the said testatrix.  And this deponent further saith, that at the time the said testatrix subscribed her name to the last Will as aforesaid, and at the time of the deponent's subscribing her name as an attesting witnesses thereto, as aforesaid, the said Sally Williams was of sound mind and memory, of full age to execute a Will and was not under any restraint to the knowledge, information or belief of this deponent.  And further these deponents say not.
