In the name of God Amen I Seth HOVEY of the State of No. Carolina and County of Hyde do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following (viz)

First I will and desire that all my just debts be paid by my executor hereafter named.

I give to my Grandson Samuel DAILY all the land that I hold on Northin side of the road that leads from Woodstock to Bath & adjoining DAVISs patent, LATHAM's and WILKINS to him my said Grandson provided he should be living on the Twentyeth day of July which will be in year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Nineteen If not then to the heirs of his body lawfully begotten if none such then to my Grand Daughter Mary Eliza JONES and heirs and assigns forever, after my just debts are paid and the above legacies.  I give bequeath and devise all and every other of my estate both real and personal unto my Son in Law Morris JONES whom I do constitute and Executor to this my Last Will and Testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twentyeth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifteen.
