State of North Carolina

In the name of God Amen. I Thomas DAILY mariner late of the City of London being in perfect mind & health praised be god for it do make this my Last Will and Testament as followeth Imprimis:

I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Eliz. DAILY the sum of One Hundred and Seventy Five Pounds current money of this state to be raised out of my estate & what goods and chattles & as I may be possessed at the time of my death or articles to that amount as may be at her discretion & what furniture I brought into this Country.

Imprimis: I give and bequeath to my Son Saml. DAILY the sum of Two Hundred Pounds current money of this state to be raised as above mentioned or the value there of to be raised in such goods as he chooses which I maybe possessed at the time of my desease.

Imprimis: I give to my Daughter Jane the sum of One Hundred Pounds current money of this state.

Imprimis: I give and bequeath to my Son John DAILY the sum of Thirty Pounds & Twenty Pounds to his Son Thomas.

Imprimis: I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas DAILY the sum of Thirty pounds currency

Imprimis I give unto my Son William DAILY the above legacies to be paid after all my just debts are paid and then if there should not be enough left to pay the above legacies then to be in proportion.  I will and constitute my Son Saml. DAILY and my Wife Eliz. DAILY my sole executors. Revoking all former wills In Witness where of I have set my hand and seal this 31st Day of August AD 1788.
