In the name of God Amen, I Samuel DAILY of the Town of Woodstock Hyde County North Carolina being in perfect health and memory thanks be to God for the same but calling to memory the uncertainty of life do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following (viz)

I give and bequeath unto my youngest Brother GEORGE DAILY all and every of what estate I shall die possessed of whether real personal or mixed and in case my said Brother GEORGE should die before me then I appoint my Brother William DAILY my sole and only heir of all I shall die possessed of and I hereby make and appoint Mrs. Elizabeth DAILY my Mother full and sole executor of this my Last Will hereby revoking and disanuling all former Wills by me made and declaring this only to be my Last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal this 13th Day of December 1777.

    This Will was proved by the oath of Seth HOVEY and evidence thereto who swears that he believed that the testator was of a sound and disposing mind and memory at the time of his signing the same and that he also saw Thomas HENDERSON and Oden CAMPBELL sign as concerning testimony with him ordered to be recorded.
