Hyde County SS - November Term 1864
Then was this paper writing purporting to be the last Will & Testament of Abraham Boomer, deceased, exhibited for probate in open Court and the due execution thereof by the said Abraham Boomer was proved by the oath & examination of Mary Allcoc one of the subscribing witnesses thereto.  It is also proved by the oath and examination of George W. Swindell that A.B. Swindell the other subscribing witness thereto is dead and it is further proved by the oath and examination of the said George W. Swindell that he is well acquainted with the hand writing of the said A.B. Swindell having often seen him write and that the name of the said A.B. Swindell subscribed as a witness to said Will is in the hand writing of the said A.B. Swindell.  It is therefore considered by the Court that the said paper writing and every part thereof is the last Will & Testament of the said Abraham Boomer and the same is ordered to be recorded & filed.
