John Wallace & Margery Dailey O'Neal Family

John Wallace O'Neal, son of Simon O'Neal and Charlotte Williams, was born at Ocracoke on Dec. 19, 1855 and died at Ocracoke on Feb. 27, 1919.  He married Margery Anna Dailey (c1861-1895), daughter of Thomas M. Dailey and Nancy H. Gaskill, on Oct. 17, 1884 and to them were born 3 children.
    1. Ivey O'Neal - born July 11, 1887 & drowned Nov. 5, 1927.  He married Eliza Ella Styron on June 18, 1922.
    2. William Isaac O'Neal - born Sept. 10, 1889 & drowned on Nov. 5, 1927.  He married Eliza M. Scarborough on April 1, 1914.  [see a short article on the 1927 drownings here]
    3. Stella O'Neal - born Aug. 25, 1892 & died Oct. 22, 1954.  She married John James O'Neal on Feb. 15, 1915.

John Wallace O'Neal was married for the second time to Martha Frances Williams (1877-1943) on May 3, 1899.
