Jeremiah Farrow Cox & Mary Susan White, was born in Hyde Co., NC on Nov. 1,
1869 and died Jan. 23, 1955 in Columbia, Tyrrell Co., NC [see his
tombstone in Oakdale Cemetery, Beaufort Co., NC; his
obituary and his
death certificate].
His 1st marriage was to Ella Olivia Brooks in Hyde County
on May 5, 1895 and they had 5 daughters (as seen below). Ella, born in
Lake Landing, NC on July
19, 1872, was the daughter of Caleb Jackson Brooks & Pembrook Gibbs of Hyde County.
Ella died on Sept. 15, 1933 and is buried in Oakdale Cemetery [see
tombstone]. Walter's 2nd marriage circa 1941 was to
Blanche
B. (Griffin) Lewis, daughter of John O. Griffin & Caroline Pierce.
Blanche was born April 19, 1884 and died Nov. 17, 1948 [see
tombstone in Oakdale Cemetery and
death certificate].
