Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Clark – born Sept. 27, 1871 & died Apr. 18, 1940  [see obituary and death certificate for Bettie T. Sadler].  Married Samuel S. Sadler in Hyde Co. on Aug. 8, 1889 as "Betsy Ann Clark".  Betsy was the mother of Lilllie Mae (Sadler) Berry Swindell (who is standing on the far right)  Betsy's death certificate states she was the daughter of Calhoun Tooley and Allie Farrow but in other records she is listed as Betsy Clark.  In census and other records it appears that Allie Farrow was actually born Amarias Alifare Clark, illegitimate daughter of Mary "Polly" Clark.

Leonoa Berry - born Mar. 4, 1916 & died Feb. 10, 2011 [see obituary for Leonoa Lupton].  Leonoa was the daughter of Carlos Randolph Berry, Sr. and his first wife, Helen Eugene Jarvis.  She married Stacy Thomas Lupton on Mar. 24, 1934. [Leonoa was the mother of our submitter.]

Samuel S. Sadler - born Mar. 22, 1858 in Fairfield, NC & died in Swan Quarter, NC on Apr. 14, 1940 [see obituary for Samuel S. Sadler].  Samuel was the son of Benjamin Sadler & Mary Cartwright.  He married Elizabeth Ann "Bettie/Betsy" Clark on Aug. 8, 1889.

Lillie Mae (Sadler) Berry - born Nov. 13, 1903 & died Dec. 23, 1989 in Washington, Beaufort Co., NC.  She was the daughter of Samuel S. Sadler  & Elizabeth Ann Clark.  Lillie Mae married 1^st Carlos Randolph Berry, Sr. on July 20, 1923 and after Carlos died in 1952 she married Elmo Haven Swindell.  [see obituary for Lillie Mae Sadler Berry Swindell]

Gaston Bell Sadler - born Sept. 7, 1920 Swan Quarter & died Dec. 16, 2009 Scranton, Hyde County [see obituary.  He was the son of Charles Robert Sadler & Sudie Pearl Harris.  Gaston married Essie Lee Equils on Nov. 21, 1942.

Carlos Randolph Berry, Jr. - born Feb. 27, 1918 & died Apr. 15, 2007 [see obituary for Carlos R. Berry, Jr.].  Carlos was the son of Carlos R. Berry, Sr. & Helen Eugene Jarvis.  He married 1^st Nora Elizabeth Williams in Fairfield, NC on Apr. 23, 1938 & divorced in Portsmouth, VA on Nov. 23, 1966; married 2^nd in Portsmouth, VA to widow, Joyce Drewry Giarmono, on Jan. 8, 1969.
