Ashcroft and Manning and was honorably discharged at Newbern, NC on July 25, 1865; that he is 5'10" tall, has a light complexion, light hair and hazel eyes; that in July 1864 at Hatteras he incurred rheumatism and heart disease which was caused from cold contracted while in the line of duty; that he was treat at Camp Winfield Hospital at Hatteras from July 1864 to June 1865 when he was sent to Newbern to be mustered out. nvalid Pension Filed: April 12, 1886 (#463.660).
