"Virgenia Pars," portrays several hundred miles of coast of North carolina in more detail and greater accuracy than was done for many years to come for any other part of the New World.

"La Virgenia Pars," of the East Coast of North America, with the arms of Sir Walter Raleigh in the center. English ships are shown along the coast; the sea abounds in whales, dolphins, flying fish and others.
