Hoke County
Dixie Simmons shares this information.   Posted by Myrtle Bridges October 04, 2007.

Mr J. D. Mason died before 1966. Grace was a rather young girl when she married J. D. who was quite a bit
older than her. Grace always called her husband Mr. Mason. About 1985, Grace moved to Holden Beach. The house
was sold and moved to a location somewhere in Shannon. The cement foundation of the house can still be seen.
Grace born February 14, 1921 was an early resident of Hoke Co. I can no longer remember her maiden name. She
enjoyed her life at Holden Beach and died April 28, 2003 Supply, NC.
