			                         ( Archibald Campbell's will was dated 13 Oct 1837)

		         Neill Mc Lean  born 1797 (see 1860 Harnett County NC Census)

The will of Alexander McLean lists the children of his son Duncan as his Heirs

 (8) Duncan's children as heirs of their grandfather Alexander:

1. Jeanette   born 1824 
2. Catherine   born 1826

3. Sarah Ann   born 1829 and died after 1900 census -- married Thomas B Faucette in Harnett County NC . 
Thomas was born 8 May 1825 and died 24 Nov 1894. Thomas was the son of Henry Faucette and Effemia 
"Effie" Bethune born 12 June 1800 and died 1864. She was the daughter of Murdock Bethune born c 1746 
in Scotland and died 15 April 1814 in Cumberland Co, Fayetteville, NC and Margaret Morrison who was 
born in 1748 and died on 28 March 1838 in Richmond County NC.

This is my direct   line and I need information on Murdock Bethune-was he in the Am Rev ? and 
Margaret Morrison- who were her parents? They are listed in my Great grandfather's  family Bible 
with these dates, except the death date for Murdock came from the WPA papers and the death date 
for Margaret Morrison Bethune came from the Raleigh Register ( I think -don't have the papers in 
front of me.)
 
4. Effie  McLean     born 10-26-1837 and died  3 August 1914 unmarried   
( I have the death certificate which also lists the parents as Duncan McLean and Mary Campbell) 
Effie lived with Thomas B. Faucette and Sarah A McLean Faucette with her other 2 spinster sisters 
until her death as did Mary Campbell McLean the mother of Sara Ann McLean and her siblings. 
   
5. Alexander McLean    born 1835

**** Sarah Ann Mclean and Thomas B Faucette's son William Henry Faucette born 19 Sept 1871 and 
died 5 December 1930 married Marn (Monnie) Alexander Cameron and one of their daughters, Mary 
Caroline Faucette born 2 April 1904 in Harnett County N.C. and died 28 October 1984 in Sanford 
Lee Co NC was my grandmother. Mary Caroline Faucette was married to James Black Murchison in 
Harnett County NC. Their son, James Henry Murchison, born 17 March 1929, was my father.
