DEATH OF MR. DENNY FLOYD BARKER OF DUNN

CLINTON -- Denny Floyd Barker, 99, of Route 2, Box 422, formerly of Route 5, Dunn, died Friday [Nov 11, 1994]. He was a charter member of Crestview Baptist Church and a member of the Board of Trustees. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired farmer. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Crest View Baptist Church by the Revs. Randy Barker and Dennis McDonald. Burial will be in Williford Cemetery in Dunn. Mr. Barker is survived by three daughters, Louise Barker of Dunn, Thelma B. Foley of Manassas, Va., and Lottie B. Fann of Clinton; a son, Harce Barker of Dunn; two sisters, Connie B. Carter of Durham and Barbara B. Hall of Autryville; a brother, George R. Barker of Durham; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
