In the name of God Amen I JOHN DUNN of the Province of North Carolina and the County of Franklin being in perfect Health praised be God to make this my last Will and Testament as followeth;
Item. My Will and desire is that all my just debts be paid
Item. I give unto my loving wife LUCY DUNN One Negroe child called & known by the name of LYDA.
Item. I give unto my grandson AARON DUNN One feather bed & furniture One good Horse saddle & bridle
Item. I give unto my grandson JOHN DUNN one feather bed & furniture One good Horse saddle & bridle (Son of JOHN DUNN dec'd)
Item. I give unto my grandson THOMAS DUNN one Negroe girl called & known by the name of MASON. And whereas my son DREWERY BOWLEN HARDYMON DUNN & my Daughter LUCY WEBB hath already received their parts of my Estate all but 5ths more to cash of them I give.
Item. I give unto my son WILLIAM DUNN three Negroes known by the Names of WILL, EVENS, AMEY & the Increase to him & his heirs forever
Item. I lend unto my loving wife LUCY DUNN 5 Negroes known by the names of GEORGE, PATT, RIKER, ANDREW, NELLY with the Plantation where I now live with all the household goods and stock of all kinds During her Natural life and after her decease I give unto my son WILLIAM DUNN all the above mentioned 5 Negroes Land and Household goods and Stock to him & his heirs forever.
And I do appoint my wife LUCY DUNN and WILLIAM DUNN my Executors of this my Last Will and Testament. In witness I have set my hand and seal this 16th of December 1789.

In the name of God amen, I JOHN GREEN of the County of Franklin and State of North Carolina being very weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give & my soul unto the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the Gen'l Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the might Power of God and as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form,
Item- I give to my beloved wife TABITHA GREEN one feather bed & furniture also I lend her the use of my Plantation whereon I now live not caring or renting it to any person or persons except the mill and two acres of land adjoining the mill after my wifes death or widowhood I give my plantation to my daughter ALSE GREEN except the mill & two acres of land which I leave to be sold by my Executors also I give to my daughter ALSE GREEN one feather bed and furniture.
I leave all my household furniture of all kinds to be sold & my horses hogs and cattle to discharge my debts and all the remaining part of my Property.
I constitute make and ordain JOHN MOODY & WILSON DENSON the Executors of this my last Will & Testament & do hereby utterly disallow revoke & disanul all & every other former Testaments, Wills, legacies, Bequests & executors by me in any wise before named, Willed, bequeathed, rattifying & confirming this to be my Last Will & Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the 2nd day of November in the year of our Lord 1791.

March Court 1791
In the Name of God Amen I THOMAS HUNT being of sound mind and memory and calling to remembrance the uncertainty of Life think fit to make this my last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills heretofore made by me in the first place I therefore commit my soul to God that gave it & my body to the dust to be buried in a Christian like manner and my desire is that after all my just debts are discharged the residue of my worldly Estate should be disposed of as follows;
Item. I give and bequeath unto my grandson LITTLEBERRY HUNT one feather bed and furniture one Heifer cow two years old & her increase.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my grandson HARBERT HUNT one feather bed and furniture the choice of my beds & one cow yearling and her increase.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my grandson JOSIAH MASSEY one feather bed & furniture the last choice of my beds and one cow & calf.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Loving son JOHN HUNT five pounds specie money & two ewes
Item. I give and bequeath to my loving daughter SARAH HUNT my riding horse one chest two potts all the rest of cattle and sheep that is not legacyd out and all my hoggs & crop of corn and all the rest of my household stuff or furniture.
And I do constitute and appoint my loving sons HENRY HUNT, HARDY HUNT and JOHN HUNT Executors of this my last will and testament. In whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal September 27th, 1790.

In the Name of God amen, I HEZEKIAH MASSEY of Franklin County in the State of North Carolina being in a poor and low state at present but in sound mind and memory thanks be to God for the same therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following:
Item. I give and bequeve unto my son BURGESS MASSEY to him and his heirs forever the land and Plantation whereon I now live for 132 acres more or less after my wife decease or widowhood.
Item. I give and queve to my beloved wife MARTHA MASSEY one bed and bed sted & rug & cow & calf 1 sheet 1 dish & bason & three plates two ewes & lambes 1 bow 1 washing tub 1 woolen wheel and cards 1 iron pot 1 smelting iron two chares four bottles and three juggs, 1 ax and hoe these things as long as she lives my widdow and then to be divided between my to youngest children JOSEPH & LYDDIA also to my son JOSEPH one mare colt named Jinney and to my wife 2 breeding sows and lent of one mare to work by the name Fly as long as she lives my widow.
And the rest of my living out doors and in doors I desire to be equally divided between my six young children to wit BURGES, CHARITY, HEZEKIAH, and JOHN, JOSEPH, LYDDIA not to be sold but divided by three honest men and last of all I leave my loving wife MARTHA MASSEY Executrix to this my last Will and Testament to see the same duly purformed and executed in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixteenth of June One thousand seven hundred and ninty one.

Will of NATHANIEL PERRY-1790

September Court 1790

By the Grace of God Amen, I NATHANIEL PERRY being in a low state of health but of sound mind and memory having principally in view a short continuance in this world therefore having desire to settle and regulate all the whole of my Temporal afairs before I go Hand in Hand more ???? do hereby make and ordain this my Last will & Testament whereby I convey and distribute all and the whole of my Temporal property as followeth.
Item- I give and bequeath unto SARAH TAYLOR a certain parcel of Land lying on the South side of the Flat Rock Creek and bounded as follows beginning at the mouth of the Turkey pen branch thence up the sd. Branch to a corner Mark Jack thence East along a line of marked trees to the Creek thence up the sd. Creek to the first station including all within those bounds for a just possession during her life or the space of Twenty years at the Expiration of which the sd. land is to fall into the possession of my grandson NATH'L PERRY the son of DRURY PERRY further I hereby prohibit the sd SARAH TAYLOR from cutting or cultivating the sd. land by any person or persons whatever now thats herself and her children.
Item- I give and bequeath to SOLOMON TAYLOR one Rone mare by the name of Long Hoof and the first mare colt brought by the sd. mare to his brother ABRAHAM TAYLOR also one Red Heifer with a white spot in her flank one Red sow and the shorter one small iron pot one large pewter dish to him his heirs and assigns forever.
Item- I give and bequeath to ABRAHAM TAYLOR one black heifer with a white face on spotted sow ??? ???? one pewter dish to him his heirs & assigns forever which articles to be comitted to the care of their mother SARAH TAYLOR and to be conveyed to them when come of age.
Item- I give and bequeath to my son EPHRAIM PERRY Two hundred acres land lying on the South side Crooked Creek and bounded as follows begining at a Corner Red oak thence along a line of marked trees a North course to a corner Red oak thence East along a line of marked trees to a corner Red Oak thence South along a line of marked trees to a Corner post Oak including all within those Bound to him his heirs and assigns forever.
Item- I gave and bequeath to my grandson NATHAN'L SANDERS two hundred acres of land more or less lying on the East side of the Great Branch and bounded as follows begining on BRADLEY's line thence East along the sd line to the corner thence North along a line of marked trees to a corner post Oak thence west along a line of marked trees to the Great Branch thence down the sd. Branch to the first Station including all within those bounds also one black horse on cow & calf and two sows to him his Heirs and assigns forever.
Item- I give and bequeath to my grandson NATHANIEL PERRY son of DRURY PERRY all the rest of my land including the manner Plantation whereon I now live to him his heirs and assigns forever.
Item- I give and bequeath to NATHANIEL PERRY MUNRY one red & white pided cow to him his heirs & assigns forever.
Item- I give and bequeath to SARAH TAYLOR one cotton one pare cotton cards one small chest one half barrell corn five midlins bacon & the fourth part of the corn cotten and flax that is now on the plantation growing to her her heirs and assigns forever.
All the rest and residue of my Estate to be equally divided among all my children in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of August 1790 the whole of which I leave in the case of my beloved sons EPHRAIM PERRY & DRURY PERRY whom I ordain as my last & joint Executors.

The last Will and Testament of William Stiles, dec'd
In the name of God Amen the 27th of December 1790 I WILLIAM STILES being sick in body but of good and sound memory thanks be to Almighty God and calling to remembrance the uncertain State of life do make constitute ordain and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, and now for the settling of my Temporal Estate and such goods & chattles as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I do order give and dispose the same in manner and form following that is to say
First. I Will that all those debts and dues as I owe in right of conscience to any manner of person or person whatsoever shall be well and truly paid.
Secondly. I Will that all my land and movable property be left to my wife during her life, and after her decease to be equally divided among all my children if possible without selling if not sell, and to the sd. will I appoint and desire my wife ESTHER and JAMES DENBEY to be my Executors. Whereunto I the said WILLIAM STILES do put my hand.

December Court 1790
In the name of God Amen I WILLIAM TANT of the province of North Carolina and the County of Franklin being that the abundant Mercy and Goodness of God the weak in body yet of sound & perfect understanding and memory do constitute this my Last Will and testament and desire it may be received by all as such I most humbly bequeath my soul to God my maker beseeching his most gracious acceptance of it thro the all sufficient merit and mediation of my most compassionate Redeemer Jesus Christ who gave himself to be and attonement for my sins and is able to save to the uttermost all that comes unto God by him seeing he ever liveth to make Interception for them and who I trust will not Regret me a returning penetent sinner when I come to him for mercy in the Hope and Confidence I render of my soul with comfort and as for what worldly good that it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow me with, I give and bequeath as followeth-
Item. I lend to my beloved wife ANNA TANT the plantation the plantation where I now live during her natural life or widowhood with her choice feather bed & furniture and her choice in horses with saddle and bridle which I give her forever & all the remainder of my household good I lend to her during her life or widowhood and after her death to be put into lots and equally divided among my two daughters MARY and ANNA TANT.
Item. Whereas my son WILLIS TANT has all ready received his part of my Estate.
Item. I give unto my son JENSY the plantation where I now live bounded as followeth Begining at a maple at the mouth of the gut runing west cross the back line to a line thence North crost to the Middle Branch to a White Oak thence down the sd. branch to a white oak, thence down the River to the first station.
Item. I give unto my son DREWERY TANT all that land and plantation where SION POWELL now lives concluding one hundred acres more or less.
Item. Whereas my son SION TANT has already received his part of my Estate.
Item. Whereas my daughter PATTEY HALL has received her part of my Estate.
Item. I give & bequeath unto my grandaughter MARY HALL the daughter of POLLEY & MARTIN HALL one feather bed & furniture which the sd. MARTIN has now in possession
Item. I give unto my son SION TANT all the household goods that he has of mine in his possession.
Item. Whereas my daughter, SUSANNAH POWELL hath already received her past of my Estate.
I do constitute and appoint WILLIAM ANDREWS Sen'r and SIMON WILLIAMS Executors of this my last Will & Testament and trustees for my wife and Children.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 9th day of June Anno Dom 1790
