How to Post a Query

By , March 24, 2010

The D-OGS website has a new feature — Submit a Query!

Anyone can submit a query using the online query form on the Queries page of the website. Once your query is submitted, the webmaster will then publish it to the “What’s New” Blog section of the website. If you would like to view all queries posted to the web blog, then click on the “Queries” category on the left side of the page.

When posting a query you have two check box options for displaying your contact information – to share or not to share. If you choose to share your contact information, it will be displayed along with your query on the blog.

The comments feature is now live so if you would like to reply to a query that someone posted, you can do so easily by typing in your name, email address, and your reply in the text box provided. Your email address is not published. If you check the box that says “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail,” then you will be notified via email if someone replies to your comment. This is a really nice feature and will contribute to the collaborative efforts of this new website!
