I’m searching their connection to the MCPHERSON family by way of a MCPHERSON daughter, Mary, who married Edward STEWART/STUART, whose parents may or may not have been Samuel and Jane STEWART/STUART. I have also found an Edward who married a Mary MCPHERSON; his parents names were John and Rachael STEWART/STUART. We are searching for the family of Charles ROBERTS b-1782. He had a brother William and they removed to Georgia in early 1800′s . By 1832 Charles ROBERTS was in Texas listed as a widower with children all born in Georgia- son Sion b-1809, Edward b-1820, William b-1823, Elizabeth b-1826, Charles Calvin b-1828 and his nephew Charles ROBERTS son of brother William ROBERTS

“Presently trying to prove the parents and siblings of my ancestor Andrew Jackson PUGH born in NC Dec. 1816. His alleged parents, James PUGH and Sarah Ricketts PUGH, were married in Orange County in Nov. 1801. I have found proof that one brother of Andrew Jackson PUGH was Joseph PUGH. Other alleged siblings include a James PUGH, Jr., and possibly an Archibald PUGH. All of the above mentioned PUGHS were present in Maury and Lewis Counties in Tennessee around 1840.
Wondering if there are any other records in Orange County that might provide some information as to whether they are indeed parents/siblings or not.

I am trying to find out about a Captain James CARRINGTON (1752-1816) who was from Orange County and allegedly served under Lt Col. Archibald LYTLE in the Revolutionary War . I appear to be related to him. Supposedly he was a POW at the Siege of Charleston and he had a brother named George. Any information you have regarding him would be most appreciated.
