Thomas & Louria (Dailey) Midgett |
 Thomas Browning Midgett was born in Buxton on Sept. 17, 1888 to Joseph C. Midgett and Deborah Sarah Farrow. He married Louria Finalton Dailey in Buxton on Feb. 23, 1913. Louria was born to Fabious Finalton Dailey and Palmira Delana Midgett on Feb. 10, 1892. Thomas & Louria had three children: 1) Melvin Browning Midgett (1913-1980) 2) Arretta Delana Midgett (1915-still living) 3) Edison Wilton Midgett (1926-still living) Thomas died in Buxton on Jan. 25, 1933 and Louria died in Nags Head on Dec. 20, 1987. Both are buried in the Quidley Cemetery in Buxton. |
