| One of 15 children born to David Oliver Midgett, Sr. & Colinda Ann Sabrina Paine/Payne this is Orenda Sparrow Pugh Midgett born in Rodanthe, NC on Oct. 5, 1866. Orenda married Joseph P. Midgett, Sr. (1863-1929) in Rodanthe on June 25, 1884. They had 13 children from 1885 to 1912 which included a set of twins. Orenda died in Waves, NC on Aug. 5, 1944 [see her obituary] Orenda & Joseph are both buried in the Midgett Cemetery in Rodanthe. |
