Edmond D. & Loren P. Midgett

L-R: Edmond Dailey Midgett (1905-1990) and Loren P. Midgett (1910-2001).  These two boys were the only children of Christopher Pharoah "Kit" Midgett and Martha Laurette (Barnett) Midgett.  When Kit died in 1960, Loren and his wife inherited his house which is one of the 5 oldest homes standing in Buxton.  Edmond D. married Linda Celeste Casey in 1931 and they had two children.  Loren P. married Irene (Barnett) Austin in 1948.  They had no children together.
