Josephine (Etheridge) Drinkwater

John Edward Drinkwater, son of Allen Drinkwater, Jr. & Colinda Midyett, was born in North Yarmouth, Maine on April 12, 1844. He married Josephine Etheridge before 1866 and they had 8 known children. John Edward died in Virginia Beach, Va. on March 24, 1897 and is buried in Virginia Beach. Josephine Etheridge, daughter of Adam Dough Etheridge & Frances "Fanny" Baum, was born on Roanoke Island on March 10, 1849. She died Dec. 7, 1917 in Manteo and is buried in the Etheridge Cemetery in Manteo.
