George Washington & Margaret (Howard) Creef

George Washington Creef, son of Joseph & Mary Amanda (Holmes) Creef, married Margaret Howard on April 5, 1851 in Currituck Co., NC.  Margaret was the daughter of Benjamin & Sarah Ann (Baum) Howard.  Six children were born to this union:
   1) Ann Elizabeth Creef (1852-1869 of typhoid fever)
   2) Benjamin Howard Creef (1854-1925)
   3) George Washington Creef, Jr. (1856-1928)
   4) Rebecca G. Creef (1859-1933)
   5) Nancy Ellen Creef (1862-1867)
   6) Thomas Respess Creef (1867-1869)
