Directions: From Highway 64/264 in Manteo take Airport Rd. which runs straight into D. Victor Meekins Rd.  Go 0.3 mile.  The cemetery will be on the left about 150' from the road.  Photos were taken in February 2014 by Candy L. Roth

[Alfred was born in Rhode Island.  He married Sarah Matilda "Susan" Mann between 1860-1862.  After Alfred's death, Sarah Matilda married Col. James Monroe Whitson on Apr. 17, 1875.  James & Sarah are both buried in Old Hollywood Cemetery in Elizabeth City, NC
