William Williamson
Nov. 24, 1858 - Feb. Term 1859

In the name of God, amen.

I William WILLIAMSON of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being of Sound mind and memory thanks be to God for the Same, being mindfull that it is appointed for all men to die - being blest with the prevelidge of having Some property and wishing to dispose of it agrable to my own will and disire do make and publish this to be my last will and Testament in the following manner to wit --

Item 1st  all my Just debtes and all my bural Expences to be paid by my Excutar herein after named.

Item 2nd  I Give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Casandra WILLIAMSON my Stock of every kind - namly Horses - Cattel - Sheep - Hogs - all my farming utencels - all my House Hold and kitchen furnetur - all my Corn - Fodder and provisions of every kind - one negro Woman named Mary and four Children namly Joseph - Ann - Edmond - Mary and their increese - all my money and notes and accounts that may be found after my deth - one negro man named Jacob - one Rockway and Harness - one Horse Cart and harness and all my Chattel and perishable Estate in doors and out doors to her and her heirs forever.

Item 3rd  I lend to my beloved wife Casandra my Farm whereon I now live and all my Lands duren her natural life.

Item 4th  after the deth of my beloved wife Casandra WILLIAMSON I Give and bequeath unto my Brother Wiloughby WILLIAMSON's Children my Farm whereon I now live and all my Lands to them and ther heirs forever.

lastly I Constitute and appoint my beloved wife Casandra WILLIAMSON my whole and Sole Eceutrix to this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.  in witness whereof I the Said William WILLIAMSON do hereunto Set my hand and Seal this the 24th day of November 1858.

Signed Sealed published and declared by the Said William WILLIAMSON to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and and [sic] in his presence and in the presence of each other do Subscribe our names as witnesses thereto

PROBATE OF WILL

  North Carolina  }    Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
Currituck County}     Feby Term 1859   
    A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Wm WILLIAMSON, decd, was exhibited for probate in open court by Casandra WILLIAMSON Executrix therein named and the due execution thereof by the said William WILLIAMSON is proved by the oath and examination of Joseph S. DEY and S.B. HUGHS, Subscribing witnesses thereto.
    It is therefore considered by the Court that the said paper writing and every part thereof is the last will and testament of the said William WILLIAMSON, decd, and the same is ordered to be recorded and filed.  And thereupon the said Casandra WILLIAMSON Executrix as aforesaid duly qualifies as Such by taking the oath required by law.
