The last will and Testament of Hugh WILLIAMSON dec’d. was exhibited in open court at November Term 1846 and the execution of the same proved by the oath of S.B. DOZIER one of the subscribing witnesses to the same in due form ordered recorded.

    State of North Carolina Currituck County.  I Hugh WILLIAMSON of the County and State aforesaid being in perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows viz:

    Item 1st I give and bequeath to Elizabeth POYNER wife of Thos. POYNER one loom & harness also one red cow to her and her heirs forever.

    Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my brother William WILLIAMSON all of the residue of my estate within doors and without doors lands and tenements to him and his heirs forever.

    And I constitute my trusty friend John SIMMONS my whole sole executor to this my last will and Testament in witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 29th day of October 1846.
