In ye Name of God Amen I, Richd WICKER of Coratuck in North Carolina planter being very sick & weak of body but of perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God for it do make, constitute, and ordain this my last will and testamt disannulling & revoking all other wills & testamnts by me formerly made & this to be my last & only will in former manner following first & principally I bequeath my soul into ye hands of Almighty; that gave it and my body to ye earth from whence it was formed in full assurance of the resurrection in and through meritories death of my blessed lord and saviour Jeses Christ my body to be buried in such descent manner ye my Exetr hereafter mentioned shall think fitt.

Item I give my loving wife Margaret WICKER one feather bed & furniture two ruggs & one blankett one cotton rugg & one wollen rugg & one wollen rugg bolster and pilow.

It.  I give and bequeath to my wife a large chest & all yt in it with half my pewter a large iron pott & kettle.

Item I give her liberty to live on my plantation in coratuck as long as she pleases or live without let or molestation.

Item I give my lo wife Margaret WICKER one horse called by ye name of Fowster with a bridle & sadle.

Item I give to my wife a negro boy named Sambo as long as she liveth on my plantation in Coratuck if he lives there all her life.  I give to my wife Margaret WICKER all my hoggs yt are on ye plantation in Coratuck.  I give to my wife one table four trayes one wash tubb one pale one piggin one salting tray & what axes & hoes & other iron tools are on ye said plantation & one looking glass.

Item what plank is here to be for ye use of my plantation & my connew to ye sole use of my wife with two smoothing irons & one frying pan & one M? of nails for ye use of my plantation.

Item I give to my two grand children George BOOTH daughter Anne and Elizabeth each of them a heifer.

Item I give to Robt LINSEY one cow calf.

Item I give to my loving wife Margaret WICKER four cowes wth their calves & one bull.

Item I make my eldest sonn Wm WICKER my sole Exectr. & then all my debts are paid the remainder of my estate with God of his mercy hath Endowed me with to be equally divided between ye rest of my children only my land & plantation on Knotts Island in Princess Anne
County to my eldest son William WICKER my Exectr & my land in Coratuck to be equall divided between ye rest of my children only my son Jno to have ye part of ye wch ye plantation on & yt part of ye land there call ye great neck to my two daughters & ye other part to my sonn Joseph called ye fork.  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seale this 4th Jany 1700.

This will proved in open Court by ye oaths of Nathl EVANS?/TOMS?, Peter PARKER, Anne THOMAS 30th of Jany 1700/1699.

    pr. Wm. SWANN Cl. Cur. in coratuck, and presented in Princess Anne Court ye 6th March 1700 & Ordrd to be recorded.
