In the name of God Amen, I John WICKER of North Carolina Currituck County, being sick and weak but of proper mind and memory Thanks be to God for the same, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

I desire all my just debts to be fully paid and satisfyed by my executor that I shall hereafter name.

Next I give my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it in hopes of a joyfull resurrection through the merits of Jesus Christ my blessed redeemer.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Sister Mary HOLSTEAD fiftey acres of land joing Tulle ROBINSONs land being the northard end of my plantation it lying in the County of Princess Anne and State of Virginia to her during her natural life but after her death I give the said fifty acres of land above mentioned to her Daughter Salley HOLSTEAD to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Salley WICKER the southard end of my plantation whereon I now live from the river to a Walnut tree standing near a ditch for ten acres more or less to her during her natural life but after her death I give the said land above mentioned with the remaining part of my plantation being two hundred and forty acres unto my Cuison Frankey HOLSTEAD to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Wife Salley WICKER the use of my negro man Owen for two years if she dont move him ofun the plantation, but if she doth for him to return to my Cuson Frankey HOLSTEAD directley.

Item: I give the said negro Owen above mentioned to my Cuson Frankey HOLSTEAD after two years to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Wife Salley WICKER my negro man Africa during her natural life or widowhood.

Item: I give and baequeath unto my Cuson Frankey HOLSTEAD the above mentioned negro man Africa at my Wifes death or marriage or if she moves him the plantation whereon I now live to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give my negro man Jack his _______________for himself as a freeman from [rest of the page worn off]

Item: I give unto my Wife Salley WICKER one horse called Silver John during her natural life, but at her death I give the said horse unto my Cuson Frankey HOLSTEAD to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Cuson Frankey HOLSTEAD one mare named Fillis to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Cuson Salley HOLSTEAD one horse named Rummehorse? to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Sister Mary HOLSTEAD one mare & colt to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give also unto my Sister Mary HOLSTEAD four ewe and lambs to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give all my cattle to be equally divided between my Wife Salley WICKER and Frankey and Salley HOLSTEAD to them and their heirs forever.

Item: I give ye remaining part of my sheep to be divided likewise between my Wife and Frankey and Salley HOLSTEAD to them and their heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Wife Salley WICKER and Frankey and Salley HOLSTEAD all my hogs to be equally divided to them and their heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Wife Salley WICKER one feather bed and furniture her first choise to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Cuson Salley HOLSTEAD one bed and furniture the second choise to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Cuson Frankey HOLSTEAD one bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Wife one tea kittle, fire tonges, grid iron, and prebit to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my friend John JAMISON one pettyaugar to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Wife Salley WICKER and my two Cusons Frankey and Salley HOLSTEAD all ye remaining part of my whole estate within doors and without to be equally divided among them three to them and their heirs forever.

Item: I also give unto my four Cusons Mary SIMMONS, Thomas, Joseph and Frankey HOLSTEAD twenty shillings each to be raised out of my estate to them and their heirs forever

And Lastly I constitute and appoint my friend John JAMIESON my hole and sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament and disannulling and denying all others ratifying this an no other to be my Last Will and Testament as witness wherunto I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th day of May Anno Domini 1791.
