The Last Will Testament of Joshu WEST deceased Exhibited in open Court and proven by the oath of John R. BRIGHT witness thereto & ordered Recorded.

In the name of God amen I JOSHUA WEST being in good heath mind & memory think it a time most proper to make this my last will & testament & I do ordain it so to be.

   Item 1st I give and bequeath to my Son JOSHUA WEST the Eastward side of my plantation from the division line formed or made by myself which runs as follows Beginning at a Catawba at the Gate & thence running a northerly course to walnut tree.

   Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my Son BENJAMIN WEST the westward side of my plantation from the aforementioned line.

   Item 3rd I give & bequeath to my two sons JOSHUA & BENJAMIN WEST equal priviledge in the woodland belonging to sd. Plantation now in case should either son JOSHUA or BENJAMIN WEST die without an heir lawfully begotten of his body then the surviving one I give the whole of sd plantation to him & his heirs forever.

   Item 4th I give the use of sd. Plantation to my wife untill my son BENJAMIN WEST arives to the age of Twenty one years.

   Item 5th I give & bequeath all of my personal Estate to be equally divided between my wife & my two Daughters KATA & PHOBE to them & their Heirs forever.

   I do make constitute & appoint my wife my Executres to this my last will & testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand. June 21, 1832
