In the name of God Amen, I Joshua WEST of Currituck County and State of North Carolina, being very sick and weak in body but in my right mind and of a disposing memory think proper to make this my Last Will and Testament, and first of all

Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Son Joshua WEST my land and plantation whereon I now live to him and his heirs also my gun.

Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Daughter Salley WEST three hundred dollars to be raised out of my estate

Item I give and bequeath all the remainder of my estate within doors and without to be eqeally divided between my well beloved Wife Sarah WEST and my two Daughters Cortney WALLACE and Salley WEST.

Revoking and disannulling all other wills and legacies ratifying and confirming this to be my Last Will and Testament. and lastly I appoint and ordain leave my trusty friend Malachi READ hole and sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and two.
