In the name of God Amen, I George Day WEST of Currituck County being weake in body but of sound memory blessed be God, for I do this twenty fifth day of Aprial in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine make and publish this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and foley that is to say, First I give to my two elder Daughters which is Lurana WEST, Anna WEST one hundred acre of land that I had of PARKER to be eakley divided from the water to Sevin Beech (?) to which I give Lurana norwest side and to Anna the south east side. This line of marked trees.

I give to the rest of my children one hundred acre of land whereon I do live to be eakley divided between Mary WEST, Robard WEST, Sunah(sic) WEST, Peggy WEST and after my Wife have her part what the law alows her, and just debts paid I give the rest of my good and chattels to be eakley devided between all my children from the eldest to the youngest, and I doth leve my Wife and my Daughter Lurana WEST my hole and sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament which I Ecknow it to be and doth set my hand and fixt my seal this 25th day of Septr 29 1789.
