In the name of God Amen.
I Mary WATERFIELD, being very sick and weak in body, but perfect in mind and memory thanks be to the almighty God for it, calling unto mind the uncertainty of life, and knowing it is appointed unto all people once to die, do constitute and appoint this my Last Will and Testament in which I do give my soul to the Lord who gave it, and do leave my body to be buried in a christian like manner, at the discretion of my executors, and my worldy goods in the manner, and form as follows viz.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son John Waterfield HOLLEY, the land and house whereon he lives, also one feather bed and its furniture and all the other household furniture, and kitchen furniture, that is at the said place and the one half of all my stock of cattle, and every other kind of stock, to him and his heirs forever.
Item, I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Polly HALL, one negro woman named Frankey, one feather bed and its furniture, which is now in her possession and every thing she now has in possession such as household furniture and the one half of all my stock of cattle and every other kind of stock to her and her heirs forever.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Thompson HALL, the Son of my Daughter, one negro boy named Will, the Son of Frankey to him and his heirs forever.
I do nominate, constitute and appoint John Waterfield HOLLEY and John HALL my whole and sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament revoking and denouncing all and every other will or gift by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused my seal to be affixed this sixteenth day of March in the year of our Lord 1814.
