In the name of God Amen. I Lamuel WALKER of the County of Currituck survivor [sic], being very sick and weak in or in perfect health of body and of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make this my Last Will and Testament that is to say, principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul to God that gave it me, hoping I shall receive it at the general resurrection day, and as touching such worldy estate wherewith it hath been pleased God to bless me, I dispose of it in the following manner and form.

First of all I give and bequeath all my lands to my two Sons named Samuel WALKER and Lamuel WALKER to be equally divided from Caleb WALKERs line to Dms BALLANCEs line, the eastward side for Samuel my Son, and the westward side for Lamuel my Son to inherit at twenty one years of age, no other part of my property My land to be for my Wife and other children untill my Sons is of age. All my moveable estate to be equally divided to my two Daughters Fanny and Lovey, Samuel WALKER and Lamuel WALKER my two Sons is to give Thomas WALKER my Son twelve pounds a piece, when at age. I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke, disannul all and every other testaments, wills, I call this my Last Will and testament and no other bearing date this the eighth day of Febuary in the year of our Lord one thousand 8010(sic)

[Note: Probate date is from Currituck Co. Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions. Also from court minutes, testator's first name is spelled "Lemuel", witness' name is "Davis BALLANCE" and wife/executrix is given as Nancy WALKER].
