Known by all pressent that I Nancy A. TWIFORD been in Sound mind do Execute this my Last Will and testimony and give unto my Grandaughter Emma LEWARK One feather bead one matress bolster and Pillows and all the bead Clothing beloning to Said bead also my new beadstead One Clock all my Crockery One Heifer all my hogs head on Monkey Island all my Fouls and Pigeons all my Cloathes to be Equelly devied betwen my Grandaughter Emma LEWARK and my Daughter Addie.  I give my Daughter Addie my new Rocking Chair Serving Machien One trunk One Stear on Monkey Island and all my gees. I give Unto my Daughter Addie One Father bead.  I give Unto my grandson Vanderbelt One Cow and Calf on Monkey Island.  I give Unto my Son Thomas CURLES One Bureau One wooden Rocking Chair two Feather beads Bolsters & Pillowes one matress one old beadstead and bead Clothes all my Ducks on Monkey Island.  I give Unto Mrs. CURLS One of my trunks my Turkeys to be Devided betwen John LEWARK and Thomas CURLS.  My Son Thomas CURLES to have all the Cattle on piney Island after giving One Heifer Each to the folling named Children.  Also John LEWARK SEN. to have all the Cattle on the beach after givens named Children Each.

the properity to Remain in the Cair of my Grandaughter Emma LEWARK Untill Devided.  The above will to take Effect Ten Days after my Death and Burial and not before.

Sined in the Presence of theas witness and Almighty God this the Eight Day of August A.D. 1884.

     Currituck County    }
    A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Nancy A. TWIFORD was this day offered for probate by Thomas CURLES and Addie LEWARK Children of the said testator and the executors of the same duly proven by the oath and examination of F.W. BELL, Sarah W. BELL & John LEWARK subscribing witnesses thereto.  And it appearing on said examination that the said Nancy A. TWIFORD was of full age to make a will, that she was of sound mind and disposing memory, and under no restraint or undue influence, that they witnessed said will at the request and in the presence of the said testatrix and in the presence of each other by subscribing their names thereto and at the time the said testatrix signed the same.  It is therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed that the said paper writing and every part thereof,  is the last will & testament of the said Nancy A. TWIFORD and it is ordered & filed.  This April 4th 1885.
