Be it remembered that I John TOWNSED do after all my depts be paid I give and it is my will and desire that my Father Silvanus TOWNSEND shall have a desent and plentifull maintainance out of my estate during his life.

Item: I do give and bequeath unto my dear and beloved Wife Drusilla TOWNSEND all my estate within and without doors both raile and personal to her during her natural life and after her decease to my Son John TOWNSEND to him and his heirs forever, and in case he should decease without heir of his body then the above mentioned estate I give to my well beloved Wife Drusilla TOWNSEND to heir at disposel and I do appoint my trusty friend Edward DOUGHTY JR. and my beloved Wife Drusilla TOWNSEND my executors of this my Last Will and Testament wherof I have hear unto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of August 1787 sinned in presence of
