Know all men by these presents that I James THOMAS of the State and County aforesaid, do make and establish this instrument of writing to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form to wit. And first I order all my just debts to be paid out of my estate and as touching such worldy estate as it hath been please God to bless me with I bestow in the following manner to wit. And first I give to my Son James THOMAS one bed and furniture called the high bed, to him and heirs forever.

Item: I then give to my Wife Jane one bed and furniture forever.

Item: I also give to said Wife Jane one linen wheel for ever.

Item: I then give to my Daughter Lydia chest also the new chest, and one linen wheel forever.

Item: I then give to Daughter Patsey one small desk forever.

Item: I then give to my Son Joseph THOMAS one large foulding table forever.

Item: I then give to Son Aaron ten dollars to be raised out of my estate to him for ever.

Item: I then give to my three youngest Sons John, Sam and William THOMAS one shilling a piece and no more.

Item: I then lend to my Wife Jane the use of my house and plantation, during her widowhood, and at her death or marriage I then give to my only son James all my land and plantation, to him and his heirs forever and I also constitute and appoint my trusty friend Thomas BROWN to be my whole and sole executor to this my Last Will and testament, revoking all others from the date hereof.

I then constitute and appoint my trusty friend Thomas BROWN my whole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament revoking all others. (This line was repeated)  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27 day June 1811.
