The Last Will and Testament of Thomas TATEM deceased was exhibited in open court at November term 1844 and the execution of the same proven by the oath of John L. COX and Francis A. JARVES subscribing evedences there to in due form & ordered recorded.

   I Thomas TATEM of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina do make this my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows to wit.

   Item 1 I give and bequeath unto my wife Susan TATEM all of my property and estate whatsoever to her and her heirs forever and do hereby nominate and appoint Christopher BUNDY my whole sole executor to this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other former wills heretofore made by me as witness my hand and seal this 23^d Septer. 1844.
