In the name of God Amen, I Joseph STOW, of Cape Hatterass, Pilot, being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind and memory Thanks be given to Almighty God, calling unto mind the mortallity of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, that is to say, prinicipally and first of all I give and recomend my soul into the hand of God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent christian buriel at the discretion of my executors noting doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give divise, and dispose of the same in the following manner and form---

First I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved Wife Comfort STOW all my land containing two hundred and fifty acres and all my cattle beasts except one cow and calf that I give to Mary STOW, also my sheep to my Wife Comfort STOW except twelve head, six head I give Stevin? HOOPER and six head of sheep I give to James WILLIAMS JUNr, all my hogs, two sows, one year old barrow and nine shotes, I give to my Wife Comfort STOW also I give unto Ezekiel HOOPER my boat and oars and main sail and jib, likewise I give to my Wife Comfort STOW my household goods, debts and moveables and one horse, also give to Keziah STOW one bed and furniture, likewise I give unto John STOW one shilling also I give unto William STOW one shilling.

I likewise constitute make and ordain Ezekiel HOOPER and my Wife Comfort STOW my executors of this my Last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former testament wills, legacies, bequeaths, and executors by me in any ways befor named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament I witness whereof I have hereunto set hand and seal this twenty sixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four.
