In the name of God Amen, I Henry SLEGHT now in Currituck County in the State of North Carolina being in a low state of health, but being of as sound mind as at any period of my life, Thanks be to God for the blessing, calling to mind that it is the lott of all mortalls once to die, I do make and ordain this instrument to be my Last Will and Testament and in the first place I recommend my soul to Almighty God who gave it, and my body to be interrd at the descrestion of my executors hereafter mentioned.

Then I will and give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Mary SLEGHT all the property I possess in New York during her widowhood and after her intermarriage, or death, then it is my will and desire it be equally divided between my two Son Henry and William SLEGHT which property it is also my will that my beloved Brother John SLEGHT JUN. should employ in trade until they come of age.

I likewise leave all the property I have that shall arise from my Fathers estate to my beloved Mother Mary SLEGHT during her widowhood, then to return to and be equally divided between my two children Henry and William SLEGHT.

I do appoint my beloved Wife Mary SLEIGHT, my Brother John SLEGHT JUN., and Mary H. SLEGHT my Mother my executors to this my Last Will and Testament to who I recommend the education and care of my children, and then revokeing all other will or wills hereto- fore made by me, given under my hand and seal this fourth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and 94 ninety four at Currituck Shore and County North Carolina.
