In the name of God Amen, I Will. SIMMONS of Currituck County and State of North Carolina being weak in body but in my right mind and of a disposing memory think proper to make this my Last Will and Testament and first of all I leave a part of my land to be sold beginning at a gum standing near the landing gap, running eastwardly and southwardly so as to include the two Piney Islands so on to the landing up the creek to the head then eastwardly to the first station and the proceds to be appropriated to the use of paying my lawful debts, and also as much of my perishable estate as will pay all my lawful debts, such things as my Wife and family can best spare.

Item I leave the use of all my estate real and personal after my lawful debts, are paid to my well beloved Wife Mary SIMMONS, during her widowhood but at her marriage or death then to be sold and the proceds to equally divided between all my children then living that is to say Sementer SIMMONS, Sam. SIMMONS, Will SIMMONS, Caleb SIMMONS, Th. SIMMONS and Polley SIMMONS revoaking and disannulling all other wills and gifts ratifying and confirming this to be my Last Will and Testament.

And lastly I appoint my well beloved Wife Mary SIMMONS and John HILL my executors of this my Last Will and Testament in witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of June one thousand eight hundred and five.
