State N. Carolina Currituck County, In the name of God Amen, I Darcus SIMMONS, being weak in body but of a sound mind and memory, Thanks to Almighty God for the same calling to mind the on sartainty of life and the sartinty of death and knowing that is appointed for all hewman one to dy and after deth to appear in judgement I therefore recomend my sole to Allm God that give it to me and my body to be burred in such cristetun like manner as my exctors hear after shall think proper and as it has plese the Lord to bless me with sum worla proptes I bestoe in the following manner in punnes here---

Item I give and bequef to Mary ONEEL Daughter of Samuel ONEEL twenty five silver dollars to she and her ares for ever.

Item I give and bequef to my two Sisters Ednay ONEEL and Mary TAYLOR all the remains of my estate to be euqal divided between them to them and there ares for ever.

And hearby constute and appont Samuel ONEEL and Benj. TAYLOR my hole and sole exctors of this my Last Will and Testament in witness of the same I have set my hand this 17th day of November 1796.
