In the name of God Amen, I Will. SCOTT SEN. Of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory thanks be to God for it and calling to mind the mortality of my body knowing it is appointed for man once to die recommending my soul and body into hand of God who gave it and my body to the earth to be burried in a Christian manner and the goods and estate the Lord hath bless'd me with I give and dispose in the manner and form following Viz.

First of all I give unto my Son Mirchael the fifth part of the land I now live on it being the east part of my land.

Item: I give unto my Son John the one fifth part of my land next to Mitchael.

Item: I give unto my Son Samuel the one fifth part of my land next to John whereon buildings stand.

Item: I give unto my Son William one fifth part of my land next to Samuel.

Item: I give unto my Son James the other fifth part of my land next to William.

Item: I lend unto my Loving Wife Sarah five cows her first choice one old cow a pide one one red steer ____ with a white face one bull pide and seven hogs and twenty four hogs marked and all my house hold goods and furniture , leaving one table one pistol and two guns added to my Wife the whole of my corn and porck and likewise two horses during her widowhood.

Item: I give to my Son Mitchael two cows one red the other dark brown and one small red heifer one table

Item: I give unto my Son Will two cows black one brended yearling

Item: I give unto my Son John one brown cow with a white face. One red heifer about four year old and one two year old colt and one gun.

Item: I give unto my Son James one pide cow one red heifer one pide bull one pistol

Item: I give unto my Daughter Mary two cows red one heifer red one bull yearling

Item: I give unto my Son Samuel one red cow one brown cow one pide bull yearling one brown heifer yearling and one gun

I constitute and appoint my two Sons namely Mitchael and William executors to this my Last Will and Testament and renouncing all other wills and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament and to remain in full force and virtue in law whereunto I set my hand seal it being the 22d day of December 1795.
