In the name of God Amen Richard SAWYER of the county of Currituck and State of No. Carolina I being in resonable boddely health and perfect sound and composed mind to make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows this the twenty sixt day of March one thousand eight hundred and ten 1810 Viz.

I give and bequeath unto my wel beloved Wife one feather bed and cevres and bedstead and to have her choice and the use of one horse as long as she lives my widdow and after that to be sold and be divided among my children... viz...

I give and bequeath unto my wel beloved Daughter Mary BURGES one feather bed and civeren to hur and hur eairs for ever ...

Viz. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Susanah SAWYER one feather bed and civeren to hur and eairs forever

Viz. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter Margarrett one feather bed that she has now in hur pareshin to hur and hur heirs for ever.

Viz. I give and bequeath unto my Son Joseph SAWYER one feather bed and sted that he hath now in his pusseshen to him and his eairs for ever.

I give and bequeath unto my Son Jeremiah SAWYER one feather bed and sted civren to him and his eairs forever.

Viz I give and bequeath unto my Son Charles SAWYER one feather bed and sted and civren to him and his eairs forever. I also give and bequeath unto my wel beloved Son Charles SAWYER fifty eacres of land joyoing his Brother Jeremiah SAWYER to him and his eairs for ever.

Viz. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Marget GARRETT fifty eacres of land wher on they now live jouing Willoughby WHETELYs land to hur and hur eairs forever of her boddy

Viz. I give and bequeath unto my wel beloved Daughter Susanah SAWYER fifty eacres of land joyning Wm. WHETELY to hur and the eairs of hur boddy forever.

Viz. I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Nancey SAWYER fifty eacres of land joyning Willo. WHETELY and Isaac(?) GARROTT to hur and the eairs of hur boddy forever.

Viz I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary BURGUS all the remaind part of my land joyning William WHETELEY and Jesse GARROTT to hur and hur eairs for hur boddey forever.I all so give my Daughter Mary BURGES eaightty dollars to be paid out of my estate

Viz. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Wife fifty eacres of land joying William WHETELEY during hur natural life

I allso leve all the rest of my estate to be sold and the money to be divided between my Wife Marrum SAWYER and Mary BURGES and Susanah SAWYER and Jeremiah SAWYER and Marget GARRETT and Charles SAWYER to my Grand Daughter Nancey SAWYER after paying my just debts and it is my desier that my Grand Daughter Nancey SAWYERs property shall remain in the hands of my ext. I also appoint my Son Jeremiah SAWYER my hole and sole ext to this my Last Will and Testament given under my hand and seal this day and date above written in the presents of us.
