In the name of God Amen I Jesse SANDERSON of Currituck Cownty in the State of North Carolina being of Sound & Disposing mind and memory calling to mind the ____________ do make this my last Will and Testament in manner & form as followeth
____________ commend my soul to Almighty god who gave it me and in touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with I Give devise and Dispose of in following Manner and form Viz.-----

Item. I give to my wife Mary SANDERSON one Negro Man Named Roland to her and her heirs.
Also I give to my wife Mary one Negro man named David to her and her heirs. Also I give to my wife Mary one Negro Woman Named _____y _____ her heirs forever.

Item. I give to my son Thomas SANDERSON one Negro lad Named Cuffee. Also one Negro man named Quash. Also one Negro Woman Named Cres (?) Also one Negro Girl Named Plesant to him and (end of sentence).

Item. I give to my son Thomas SANDERSON my Plantation on the Swamp caled North _______ adjoinen Robart BARNETs and GRIGORY that formaly belonged to ________ BARNET to him and his heirs

Item. I give to my son Thomas SANDERSON one Schooner named Polle to him and his heirs forever.

Item. I give to my son Caleb SANDERSON the North Part of my Land and Plantation whereon I now live with one half of the Cleared Land & one half of the wood land to him and his heirs forever.
Also I give to my son Caleb SANDERSON one Negro named James & also one Negro Named Quash—also one Negro Garl Named Sarre to him and his heirs.

Item I give to my Son Caleb half of Grandses Island The North Part of Said Island to him and his heirs.

Item. I give to my Son Caleb one Island Named the Narrows Island.

Item I Give to my son Caleb SANDERSON my Land on the Shoar if recovered after the Suit is ended to him and his heirs.

Item I Give to my Daughter Patsey one Negro woman Named Chane Also one Negro Garl Named Pege (?) Also one Negro Boy Named Roland to her and her Heirs.

Item I Give to my son Lemuel SANDERSON the one half of my Plantation whereon I now live the part whereon the Dweling house now Stands with half the wood Land adjoining thereto to him and his heirs forever.

Item I Give to my son Lemuel SANDERSON one half of Grandses Island the Sothard part of Said Island to him and his (end of sentence).

Item I Give to my son Lemuel SANDERSON my land on the Sand Banks.

Item I Give to my son Lemuel SAN. One Negro Garl Named Jane Also one Negro Man Named Charles only reserving the use of Said Charles to my wife Mary She Suporting My Son Lemuel and Giving him good Education for the use of Said Charles during her widowhood.

Item. I give to my Daughter Mary SANDERSON one Negro Garl Named Marry Also I Give to my Daughter Mary one Negro Man Named Menus to her and her Heirs.

Item I Give to my Daughter Kezire one Negro boy Named Frank also I Give to my Daughter Kezire SANDERSON one Negro Woman Named Nelepe only reserving the use of said Negro to my wife Mary SANDERSON during Her Widowhood she suporting my Daughter Kezire for the use of Said Negro.

Item. I leave to my son Lemuel SANDERSON one Negro boy Named Jack to Him and His Heirs.

Item. I give to my Daughter Nanse SANDERSON one Negro boy Named Daniel also one Negro Garl Named Hana to her and her heirs forever.

Item I give to my Daughter Patse SANDERSON one Negro boy Named Tom also the first Garl Child that my Negro Woman Faleken (?) has if ever she has one to live. If not a Garl child a boy if ever she bares one.

Item. I Give One Negro Man to my two daughters Nanse SANDERSON & Betse SANDERSON. The Negro Man named Case for suport to raise them.

Item. I Give to my two daughters Nanse & Betse SANDERSON one Negro woman Named ______ her increase to be equally divided between _________ ________ _______to_____ age____ or ______.

Item. I give all the rest and residue of my Estate that I have not already given away (line illegible) Children named Thomas (Sen? Sam? Lem? San?) Patse Caleb Nanse Betse Kezire Lemuel Mary SANDERSON. Also my will and desire is that my son Caleb SANDERSON should be bound to a Tayler that understands his business ________ ________ maker.

Lastly I do hereby _____ constitute and appoynt Thomas POYNER (?) and my wife Mary to be my hole and Sole Exctors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking & disanulling all other Wills to be _______ __________ ________ and Seal this Second Day of March 1791.

Adley WOODHOUSE being Sworn on The Holy Evangelist Deposeth that Jesse SANDERSON Deceased when in his _____ ______ as Near as he can recolect the Day before his Death he ____ Jesse SANDERSON said it was his Desire that thirty pounds of Samuel SALYEARSs notes should be destroyed and further the Deponant sayeth not.
