The last will and Testament of Betsey RAND decd. was exhibited in open court at May Term 1843 and the execution of the same proved by the testamoney of Samuel B. DOZIER one of the subscribing evedences there to in due form and ordered recorded.

   In the name of God Amen.  I Betsey RAND of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory do this day make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows viz.

   First I give and bequeath unto my Son Benjamin RAND one dollar to be raised out of my personal estate.

   Secondly I give and bequeath unto my Son David RAND one half of the rest of my estate with in doors and with out lands and tenements to him and his heirs forever.

   Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my daughter Eveline RAND the other half of my estate with in doors and with out lands and tenements to her and her heirs for ever.

   In witness I have here unto set my hand and seal this the 16 day of January Eighteen Hundred and forty three.
