In the Name of God Amen I Thomas POYNER being in a very loe state of Health but of Perfect mind & Memory Thanks be to God for the same doe make and ordain this Instrument of writing to be my last will & Testament first principallity I give my Soul into the hands of God almighty who gave it me hoping through a crucified Jesus to have full and fair (?) pardon for all the sins I have committed and my body to be Buried in a Decent like manner at the Discression of my Executor & calling to mind what little Estate god hath been pleased to bestow on me I Give in the following manner

Item. I give unto my beloved wife Julian one Cow & Earling one Feather Bed & furniture one Blue Chest one white Juniper Chest and all my Cloaths and and one half of all my Land and one Barrel of Pork and one Mare named Philles unto her and her Heirs forever.

And for the remainder of my Estate I desire to be sold for six months Credit & when the money recd. to be Equally Divided Between Thomas HOLT & Jesse MCLANNING my Cozens to them & their heirs forever after paying my Just Debts and I do hereby Constitute and appoint my Trusty friend John MCLANNING & Josiah NICHOLSON my hole & sole Executors in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & fixed my seal this eleventh day of January 1798.
