In the name of God, Amen

I Sarah POYNER of the county of Currituck and State North Carrolina being of Sound Mind and Memory and blessed with Some Property in this world I make this my last will and testament that is to Say

Item first I give and bequeath unto my Son Thomas J. POYNER one bay Horse named Buncomb and one Buggy and harness and all my cattle Hogs and Sheep also all my carts and all Farming utensils that I Shall die Seized and possessed of.

Item second I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Jane LAND one Rocking Chair and one bed quilt.

I. third I give unto my Son Thomas J. POYNER and my two Daughters Elizebeth POYNER and Mary F. POYNER all the balance of My Property that is to Say one white Horse and all My House Furniture and every thing else belonging to me at my death not given away to be equally divided between the three Thomas J. POYNER Elizebeth POYNER and Mary F. POYNER.

In witness whereof I have Signed and Sealed and published and declared this instrument as my last will This January 4th day 1873.
