The Last will and Testament of Lydia POYNER deceased was exhibited in open court at May Term 1845 and the execution of the same proven by the oath of Robert W. POYNER one of the subscribing evedences thereto in due form and ordered recorded.

   In the name of God Amen.  I Lydia POYNER of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, being in purfect health of body and in perfect mind and memory do make this my last will and Testament, and as to such worldly estate as it has pleased God to bless me with I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.

   First I loan to my Daughter Julia HUTCHINGS so long as she lives all of the property that I bought of her Husband Mathias HUTCHINGS and at her death I give it to her children to be equally divided between them and their heirs forever and I likewise constitute make and ordain Samuel B. DOZIER the sole executor of this my last will and Testament ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament in witness I have here unto set my hand and seal this the fifteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and forty one.
