In the name of God Amen. I Jesse PATRIDGE of the County of Currituck State North Carolina, being of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be God, do this 2nd day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight, do make and publish this my Last Will and testament in manner following, that is to say.

First I give and bequeath to my loving Wife Elizabeth PATRIDGE all and singular, the whole of my property in doors and out, and for her to pay all my just debts, and I hereby by make and ordain my worthy friend John PATRIDGE executor of this of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I the said Jesse PATRIDGE, have to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Jesse PATRIDGE the Testator as his Last Will and Testament in presence of us who were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof
