Currituck Co. Will Book 2, p. 111

In the Name of God Amen I Michil ONEEL of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being of perfect Mind and Memory Calling to mind the mortality of the body that it is appoynted for all men to die do make and Ordain this my Last Will and testament in manner and form following

Item I Give and Bequeath unto my son Nathan ONEEL the Land Plantation whereon I now live containing one hundred and fifty acres to him and his heirs forever also I give to my Son Nathan ONEEL all my swamp Land Contained in my New Pattent to him and his heirs forever.

Item I Give and Bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth BALL one Negro Man Named Nat to her and her heirs forever.

Item I give to my Son Samuel ONEEL one New riding Saddle to him and his heirs forever.

Item My will and desire is that all my perishable Estate both within doors and without shall be praised and Equally divided between my Nine Daughters to Wit Mary WALKER, Sarah JARVES, Rebecka HOLLOWAY, Bridget BALL, Ann GRAY, Dorcas JARVES, Julian McHORNEY, Francis WOODHOUSE and Lottie POYNER shear and shear alike to them and their heirs forever

Lastly Leave my two sons Nathan ONEEL and Saml. ONEEL my whole and Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will & Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the sixth day of March 1797.
