The Last Will and Testament of Sally ONEAL deceased was exhibited in open Court at Feby. Term 1840. and proven by the oath of Alfred PERKINS one of the subscribing evedences there to and the executor Samuel FEREBEE quallified in due form of Law and ordered Recorded.

State of N. Carolina}
  Currituck County  }
   In the name of allmighty God Amen.  I Sally ONEAL being quite feble in boddy but strong in mind and memory as usual and being convinsed of the certainty of death especily in my situation do make and declair this to be my last and only will etc. as follows viz.

   Item  first I lend unto my Sister Elizabeth ETHERIDGE during her natural [life] one negro girl named Eliza and after her death to her daughter Mary and her heirs.  and I give unto my Sister Elizabeth ETHERIDGE one bed and stead and furniture first choice to her and heirs.

   Item  I give and bequeath unto my Brother Tully C. DOZIER one negro man first choice if the said negro is willing to live with him if not for the said negro to be sold by my executor either at private or public sale and the note or money to be paid to the said Tully C. DOZIER or his heirs.

   Item 3  I give and bequeath unto Edmund DOZIER Son of Tully C. DOZIER one bay horse bridle and saddle and five Hundred dollars in notes to him and his heirs, etc.

   Item 4  I give and bequeath unto Elizath DOZIER daughter of Tully C. DOZIER one bed and furniture 2 choice to her and her heirs.

   Item 5  I leave all the rest of my property consisting of negroes stock of all kinds household and kitchen furniture to be sold by my executor the negroes to be sold either at privat or public sale, to be left entirely with my executor and all the residue of the notes after paying my just debts and those legises given above to be divided as follows Two thirds I give unto my Brother Tully C. DOZIER and his heirs and one third unto my Sister Elizabeth ETHERIDGE and her heirs.

   I nominate and appoint my friend Samuel FEREBEE JUR. Executor to this my last and only will etc. To settle all my debts etc. and pay of those legises etc. as fair as funds and the law in such cases may provide etc. given under my hand and seal the 26th day of June 1839.
