In the name of God, Amen. I Dorpha NORTHERN of the County and State aforesaid, being of sound disposing mind and memory, thanks be to God for the same, do this sixth day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, make and ordain this instrument of writing to contain my Last Will and Testament, revoking all others former wills by me made, as followeth.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son Arthur NORTHERN the plantation and swamp that I purchased of my Son James NORTHERN, it being the land whereon I now live, to him and his heirs forever.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Dorpha FOSTER one bed and furniture, one cow and calf to her and her heirs.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Carey WILSON one cow and calf to him and his heirs.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Demcy WILSON one cow and calf to him and his heirs.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Miles WILSON one cow and calf, to him and his heirs.

Item. I give the residue of my property not already given away unto my Son Demcy NORTHERN to him and his heirs.

Lastly I do nominate and appoint my two Sons Arthur and Demcy NORTHERN executors to this my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date above written.
